Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: A chronic and progressive lung disease characterized by scarring and thickening of lung tissue, which leads to breathing difficulties and decreased lung function. The cause is unknown.

Your doctor will tell you how to use this medicine. This will depend on your condition and how old you are.
Oral (by mouth)
The recommended dose is 801 mg (three 267 mg capsules) three times daily with food
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Your doctor will discuss the possible risks and benefits of using this medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding

Use oxygen therapy as directed to improve breathing
Work with a respiratory therapist to develop a breathing exercise plan
Avoid environmental pollutants such as dust and chemicals
Use a humidifier to prevent dry air from irritating the lungs
Consider talking to a therapist or counselor to manage emotional symptoms
Work with your healthcare provider to monitor lung function and adjust treatment as needed

Store at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store in the original package to protect it from moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
