Ipilimumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4), which is expressed on T cells, leading to enhanced immune response against cancer cells. Ipilimumab is used in the treatment of various cancers, including melanoma and advanced renal cell carcinoma.

Unresectable Or Metastatic Melanoma In Adults
Patients With Cutaneous Melanoma With Pathologic Involvement Of Regional Lymph Nodes Of More Than 1 Mm Who Have Undergone Complete Resection, Including Total Lymphadenectomy.

The recommended dose is 3 mg/kg infused intravenously over 90 minutes every 3 weeks for a total of 4 doses, in combination with other cancer treatments.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
