Always take Ebixa exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose of Ebixa for adults and older people is 20 mg once a day. In order to reduce the risk of side effects this dose is achieved gradually
Ebixa should be administered orally once a day. To benefit from your medicine, you should take it regularly every day at the same time of the day.
The tablets should be swallowed with some water.
The tablets can be taken with or without food.
Continue to take Ebixa as long as it is of benefit to you. Your doctor should assess your treatment on a regular basis
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
